We are becoming like the scousers. Blaming everybody for our lack of success.
If we qualify for the Champions League in Second place and go as far as we can in the Champions League then this is as much as we can expect this season.

The league doesn't lie in terms of positions. We are clearly punching above our weight.
With what is agreed an average side against we have beaten City and Milan.
We have had some distinctly crap performances against Sheffield United, Chelsea and Crystal Palace and yesterdays disaster.
Patience is wearing thin among our fans.
Even Avraham Glazier appears to have had enough selling some of his shares.
One thing for certain we have perfe cted passing back and across our own penalty area.
I just think that it is back to the drawing bpard really. I suspect we will end the season scraping into the CL for next season otherwise clueless, trophyless and idealess.

If Bayern sign Haaland which is a strong possibility could we knick Lewandowski off them?
He would be ideal for us.

As big as Bayern are I really don't think that they will spend that sort of money on one player. We are dealing with 100 million plus here. Bayern will not pay that sort of money in my opinion.

I think he will go for more than that, especially with Dortmund. Could easily be between Mbappe and Neymar's fee if a bidding war starts. Regardless of the fee, I think there is no chance he will be rocking up at Carrington anytime soon.

Over on the Liverpool page, Ed has said he is a bit of a big time Charlie who is getting ahead of himself. Difficult to deal with with a bit of attitude, not sure Bayern will go for him anyway due to that.

I don't think he's a big time Charlie. He's confident in his ability and is backing it up with goals on the pitch. I like that in a striker.
Reminds me of a young Ibra. He didn't turn out too bad.

Was it only me who noticed the miserable playing conditions last night. It was cold, wet and foggy. I could barely see some of the players. Do you not think that this may also be a reason for the poor performance?
I saw Ole's face though - not a pretty sight. He is clearly not happy with the level of performance. Too many games in too short a period. The Premier League and the TV companies to blame for this.

There are some basics of Uniteds game missing in the team at the moment.
1. Goalkeepers should clear the penalty area rather than pass across it. Not clever.
2. Full backs should look for supporting midfield players rather than running into trouble down the flanks.
3. passing across the field and to the opposition is clearly not wise it happens too often though.
4. lack of movement in midfield and up front provides the player in possession with little or no options.
5. running the ball to the corner does not provide an option for the attacking team.
6. lack of clinical finshing means we do not convert the chances when they are created.

Perhaps if he can't play and can't move he can work in the megastore
then he could sign al the shirts with his name on and generate some income for the club. Just a thought.

Haaland is an above average striker with an excellent goal return. We need someone of his ability. Cavani is not working out for us. I agree Greenwood should be able to fulfill the striker position but we do urgently need another productive striker if we are going to challenge for the title. An alternative might be Lacazette if he is available at the end of the season.

I agree there are too many games but I kind of understand that all the teams need the money at the moment with no fans and little other revenue coming in.
After all, it is still up to us whether we watch a game or not, on the red button or not. Sky, BT and Virgin won't mind because they are still benefitting from our cash. I get that fans in other countries have less options and probably it may be the highlight of the week.
The main problem is that the pundits have to generate the interest.
There are no fans therefore no atmosphere. City are nailed on for the title. United are just trying to win or at least not lose games. Very few people are interested in who is top 4 and who gets relegated,
Hopefully next season things will return to normal and so will the interest level.

They may not be the greatest midfield . However they are effective in most games and Ole trusts them.
What we clearly is anoth creative midfielder in the mould of a Scholes or a Beckham. I have a feeling already know this and are likely to remedy it soon. I favour Ward Prowse who also is a dead ball special-ist and Grealish who can carry a threat, let's see what happens in the next transfer window.

I think that there is a lot in the discussion which is true. It is hard for Ole to integrate the new young players into the team. He has to have a ba backbone that he can rely on until the end of the season.
My main criticism if any is the cast offs are still fringe players because until their contracts come to an end he can't get rd of them. e. g. Mata, Lingard, Jones, Dalot etc. Something wrong with the contracts maybe not necessarily the coaching.

If we had a Grealish or a Maddison in the team I fdont think Fred would make the team unless there was someone injured . We need someone to carry the ball to the forward wares and he is not the one.
