Looks like Marcus off to Villa is a goer.

Not sure about this one. Would rather he went abroad, guaranteed he will start scoring and playing well and help a team we need to catch up.

Unfortunately we need him to go there and smash it if we want to get a decent fee, unless they are already discussing a commitment to buy fee. I think it is difficult to value him at the moment.

Didn’t work out too well did it Marcus. Villa? Hardly Milan or Barca…probably actually found his level.
Does he know Villa players work their socks off? If he can’t be bothered to work for his hometown club, how will it work at Villla? I hope he does well as we need to sell him for a good price to fund the rebuild.

Simply put, I'm so confident that you're utterly wrong that, if Marcus were to do better than his current 24/ 25 return of 214 mins per goal in all comps for Villa between now and the summer, I would ask for the Eds to change my name to whatever they like.
It ain't going to happen buddy.
Workrate and team ethic are very strong factors of Emery's style, which is why Rashford will look no better there than he does for United.

Bottom line is that not many clubs wanted him. We move on no one player is ever bigger than our club.

Ork- you could well be right. But it wouldn’t surprise me if he put in a real effort for the next few months to try and show United were in the wrong for letting him go. To then return back to his normal sulky lazy self once he’s signed a new contract with them for next season.
Although him signing permanently is unlikely in my opinion as I doubt he will be taking a pay cut anytime soon and no way Villa will pay £300k a week.

Loan both clubs. Try before you buy. I don’t care where he goes, he just needs to move on now.
That being said, if Villa want to stump up with £30-35m, I say bite their hand off!

I think it's a win win for villa. Allows them to really see if Rashford can be a longer term player for them. Meantime it covers Durans departure. If Rashford turns up they have a top striker for not a lot of money. If he doesn't no real harm done.

70% wage contribution and £40m buyout fee.
Cheers, Villa! Win, win in my eyes.
If (big if), him, Rogers, Ramsey and Watkins click, they’ll be electric.
We save shed loads of wages on a player sitting in the stands and get £40m pure profit in the summer.
{Ed077's Note - is it an option or obligation to buy ?

One thing I’m a little confused by is the Leon Bailey rumour? Not sure he’s what we need - that being said, we need to start buying players to suit a team, not a collection of individuals, and so if the recruitment twam and manager think he’s a good fit let’s see.

Who cares where he goes. £365k a week off the wages.
Ta ra Marcus.
