Not joking- I want the club to get relegated.

Thats the only way to rid the club of the toxic Glazers and Jim.

There is no hope until its burned to the ashes.

Once we get rid of the parasites we can rebuild.

The climb back up will he glorious.

Agreed. And we can finally rid the club of the substandard principles that are poisonously flowing through the veins of the club.
This has been a long time coming.

Now is the time to drive them out.

Genuinely until that stadium is flat out empty, they will not understand.

Maybe fans should wear paperbags over their heads in the crowd. Would send a message!

Get real! There is no way they will sell for rock bottom money.

It seems they are looking at a sale but only if a premium price can be obtained, the City punishment will be a part of this decision, along with the building of a new stadium.

Remember it is costing them nothing to retain ownership, apart from reduced or no dividends.

What makes you think they would walk away in the event of relegation?

Be careful what you wish for, I have seen it before in '74, it would not be the panacea you assume.

In any event there is no way the season will go without an even short run of form sufficient to banish the spectre of the 'R' word.

No way relegation. Financially it would be a catastrophic event that has the potential to destroy the club. The Glazers know it too. It's in their interests that the club is successful or their asset becomes worth less and less.

They trusted Wilcox and Berada. Most of us were happy that they were hired. In retrospect it was not a good decision. The Glazers are not football people. Loyal United fans know more about football than them but most of us thought their appointments would finally be beneficial when we came third last year. The poor recruitment in the summer needs addressing and so do those who oversaw it.

I can't get my head round this idea of wanting to lose games. Enough games to get relegated.

For those that are hoping for it, do you actually think we'd come straight back up again?

31 Oct 2026 21:45:33
There was an article in the daily mail the other day stating that the glazers are t happy with INEOS and how things are going. Didn't read it as was behind the paywall but got a just from the first paragraph.

Makes sense too, share price and overall value tanking if this continues. The glazers don't care about the club but they do care if their cash cow depreciates badly.

No Noucamp, they won't come straight back up, unless they make changes.
And that's the point..we have been down this path for near on 20yrs of gradual demise. We aren't at the bottom yet, because we keep making the SAME MISTAKES!
