Keen to know may everybody's thoughts on Chiso Obi are.
Coaches clearly don't rate Zirkzee up top. And no serious player with any ambition or quality is coming to be Sesko's back up. So we either buy a veteran (missed out on Welbeck) or we promote from within. JJ is a child so too soon surely. Why not give Chido Obi a chance and see what happens.

I think we will see JJ begin his journey of first team integration this year. Not saying he will be playing 30 games, but he'll get minutes.

I hope he gets a few cameos, but very limited. He shouldn't be playing men's football at his age and build regularly. He can't even do certain weight training for a year or 2 yet.
Super talent, there is no rush.
A year in the 21s will help him no end.
If we stay in the League Cup, it might give him a chance.

Billy Big Balls, unlikeable and not ready.
Only got the games as it was contractual.
Proved he isn't ready and still isn't.
Used his advanced physicality to dominate smaller players, struggling to adapt.
He will be off on loan or full sale.

Chido is miles off the 1st team.
Nowhere near good enough. I would rather take Zirkzee over Chido any day of the week and this moment.

From what I hear, the club are slightly disappointed with him and feel he's a way off the first team.
He was fantastic at youth level, but he was more physically developed than a lot of his peers, and that led him to be a little more of a flat track bully. But, when he moved into the first team, his technical skills and decision making became exposed.
He needs a loan to the Championship or similar to play regularly at senior level and develop the other aspects of his game.
Right now, I'd say his chances of making it at United are fairly low, unfortunately.
