Things will happen.
I'm sure there is lots of work going on to get not only the best value, but also the best fits.
Players may be only coming on to the market as things happen elsewhere.
It's not the 1st mouse to the mousetrap that gets the cheese.
There is a bit of hedging our bets, I'd assume.
WC is complicating things also. Not too many deals being done.

Window opened on 15th June, and finishes on 1st September, so 2 weeks into an 11 week window. As per every window, we will likely sell a few, and probably sign 4 or 5. We already have Ederson wrapped up, by all accounts, so 3 or 4 more left to come in.

A guess to add to the mix is the financial year. I seem to remember it closes on 30th June. I would imagine they will want to put large expenditure in next year's books, so waiting until after July 1st. Keep an eye on annual profit and dividends paid out.

Also, if any of our targets are in the World Cup, may be smart to be sure they avoid any Ugarte-type injuries before signing them.
