Announcing it mid-season, and potentially de-railing Liverpool's title defence, really lacks class. If Liverpool don't retain the title this year, I suspect a lot of fans will place a lot of the blame on Salah announcing his exit mid-season.

I think it's a good move by the club. 2 horrible cup ties coming up, the league is over, it's derailing nothing, and it might have a real positive effect.
I doubt any proper Liverpool fan would blame anything negative on this announcement.
