The deficiencies are clear but lots of encouraging signs.
Speaking of deficiencies, the club need to do right by Amorim and get him a GK, CF and CDM. It would appear outgoings need to be in place before they push on with more signings.

Absolutely Spenno he was on fire and has shed a bit too. Maze will still bemoan him carrying a fridge but this season he has dropped the FF combo for a small fridge.

Perhaps the fridge was empty, or only salad inside, but jeez this was a 2nd game pre season friendly and not exactly against world beater strikers and we now trying to say he is Beckenbauer!
See how he is going 2 months into the season if he not injured or even making the team, then judge, not 1 game that means nothing when players looking for fitness and sharpness….

If that’s directed at me Spenno, I have and am using my eyes and not got red specs on.
My eyes don’t lie…. He ain’t awful, but he certainly not great that’s for sure, but like I say let’s judge him 6 games in if he ain’t injured or even picked as RA is looking for a commanding CB with pace, which Deligt got neither.

If that’s directed at me Manc man, then yes if we are judging players to be excellent or not over 6 games then fine, but at the same time if he not been excellent, so either injured again, dropped or just getting by, you have to admit your wrong and he don’t suit United then.
