Everton having a shocker. CBs both look very leaden footed and slow today. Could be a big day in the battle for 4th with Chelsea winning we can't afford to do anything less.

Why couldn't this everton have turned up against us? What a poor performance from them.

This Chelsea look like the third best team in the league on this form.

Always the way, we always seem to get a teams best performance 😂 they have been awful at the back today, they look like they are treading water.

{Ed047's Note - maybe you were just easy to play against

Very good performance from Chelsea so far. I'm surprised by the lack of reaction from Ancelotti.

Everton's 442 is being dominated in the middle and has been from the start. With Chelsea playing 433 having the extra man in the middle Everton are chasing shadows. While the whole Everton team look very leggy.

The experience of the front three for Chelsea are schooling the Everton back four. Sidibe looks lost, Digne doesn't look fully fit. Keane is all at sea. While Holgates inexperience is showing.

Shame this Everton didn't show up last week. But kudos to Chelsea with 9 players out injured and a young lad in midfield they are playing very well.

They have the points over us, so we are relying on the teams above us to drop points. This is an excellent display from Chelsea but they will still drop more points this season. We just need to keep going, focus on ourselves and see what we can do.

Bit of both ed047.
We played well for 30 mins against Everton and them played for a draw. But Everton were always in the game and fight hard. This one was over after 30 mins and they showed no fight as they had nothing to fight for.

{Ed047's Note - yes mate you are still very up and down, it’s like when Arsenal fans kidded themselves a 22 game unbeaten run was the start of something.

Your current run is the same, you’ve got a shed load of work to do in the summer and Bruno a long with a few others is a good start.

Maybe ed047 maybe. 😂.

{Ed047's Note - 😉🤣

Everton are a different animal at Goodison.

{Ed047's Note - not the pussy cats they are today

I think the game against Everton last week was affected by us giving away a silly early goal. Personally I think had we not given away that goal then we would have won 2-0.

I agree with you ed. We are on the knife edge of a really decent season with good draws in both cups and still in hunt for 4th.

Yet we are also on the knife edge of a hideous season by missing iut on top 4 and not winning anything.

Our squad should be diing better and have underperformed for the most part this season.

Form has picked up in the main since bruno signed but i still have no confidence in the manager and i hope we can sustain this form and win the EL and snatch 4th.

Im not sure how it will go. I think there is enough talent there to win the EL let's hope they can turn it on when it counts and that the recent upturn in form, general stats, and results continues without too many blips.

{Ed047's Note - I think it’s going to be a stretch for you Ken, some good teams still in the Europa League and very little room for mistakes in the Premier.

Bruno is 100% your Best Buy since Fergie left and it’s what you can add around him that’s going to be the big one next season.

It’s a big 10 games coming up.

This could be a pivotal few months. If we qualify for the UCL next season then I think there is a very good chance that we will sign Sancho in the summer. The club wants him, very few sides will pay what Dortmund are asking for, and Sancho would be willing to move if we make the UCL (or so I believe) .

If we can get top 4, or 5th and City's ban gets upheld, or win the Europa league then this might be looked back on as the start of the club climbing back to the top. If we fail to get UCL then the financial hit, plus the calibre of players we can bring in might drop.

Quite simply the teams with the best players are the one who challenge and win things. If we can't bring them in, then we will struggle.
