Surely Ugarte leaving and someone like Gallagher and/or Neves coming in would have just . ade sense to everyone.
I appreciate Gallagher going to Spurs, but he would have chosen us, but we just gave up and went into a death spiral.

In all seriousness, buying Gallagher made little sense to me. Loan maybe.
Neves I’ve always liked, but again don’t think he’s the guy for us either. We need legs in there who can bust a gut and cover every blade of grass.

As bad as Ugarte is surely they won't let him go out on loan without bringing in someone to replace him. Mind you nothing suprises me now when Man United are involved.
Please let it be Dalot going out on loan next.

Jimbo Gallagher's salary would put him in our top bracket and as such would need to be a regular starter over the next few years. If we actually have ambition then he's not right for us. On loan I'd have been very happy to get him as he definitely would start this year.
