On the Overlap, Neville reads quotes from Martinez interview, Keane stops Neville after hearing Martinez believed they had a great season last year, Keane said he should be fined 2 weeks wages for that alone ?. High standards, we have fallen so much.

I saw this clip in my feed earlier.
Hard to tell what’s more worrying: that Martinez thinks that a season in which the players got yet another manager sacked and were a million miles away from winning the league is a great one, or that most fans (myself included) blindly accept this when he says it.
As you say, REDCON, standards really have fallen. We’ve become like Arsenal during Wenger’s last few years at the club, celebrating mediocrity because it’s better than the dog s**** we know this team is capable of serving up.

Werner's Arsenal in the later years were still better than us now.
