While there was nothing to be pleased about from a United perspective the one thing that did please me was the meat zero mention of var and referees.
I know it's only week one but nice to see the refs taking control and others not trying to find faults on the var screens.
Keep it to the clear and obvious.
Hopefully they won't return to type after a few weeks. But I won't hold my breath.

It was nice to watch games without having time to make a cup of tea so they can replay something 55 times from 10 different angles looking for an error.
