I think what we are seeing is how the big clubs waste money on players because of reputation who are overrated, lazy, spoilt little princesses and in reality the return you get is very minimal compared to the smaller clubs who buy more astutely and the players will work their ass off for the team and their managers and appreciate the opportunity.
Makes you wonder why we have people like Rooney and Schweinsteiger on over 250k a week and when combined that is almost the whole wage bill of the starting 11 of some of these smaller clubs.

I think city will still win it and I have a feeling next year the top 4 will be back to normal .
Wages are a joke but with image rights etc a player is not just paid for what he does on the pitch.

Klopp is a good manager. But it takes time.
But his appointment and the noise around it, not least from many on this site with his arrival being described as close the the second coming if the lord himself is very wide of he mark.
The frightening thing is we will see those same people expecting instant Miracles if pep or jose come here within a few months, but it's not going to Happen like that imo
If a new manager comes in here and losses against Newcastle palace Watford and scrapes a draw v West Brom those same know it alls will be abusing that new manager.
That's my guess anyway.

I don't doubt that Klopp will improve Liverpool massively next season and I think they will be a major player in the title provided he gets a few in and a few out, but this ridiculous love in is really getting on my tits they were crap today and Watford were great and the guy stands there blaming the wind and the pitch!?
Add that to the embarrassing episode against West Brom and wow yet every man and his dog has an èxcuse ready for him and the club.
Can you imagine the pellets Mourihno, Wenger, Pellingrini or LVG would have got celebrating a draw at home to West Brom? .

I think it shows that a manager is only as good as the players he has available. And it shows that changing a manager won't instantly fix things. The new methods and style takes time for teams to adjust to.

Tony and Ken. Fully agree. I think Klopp will do a job and especially next year.
I hope we can get a manager in place to start the recovery of our great club.
