Mason Mount off injured after 20 minutes in the PSG friendly.

No indication yet what the issue is.

Standard.

If the club were counting on him, then more fool them. We need another midfielder, it's that simple! Mount is a good player, but can't be relied on. To do that is foolish and optimistic at best.

It was only a matter of time!

Can't understand why he played today, tbh, man's made of glass. Surely could've started one of our other options.

Exactly what I said a few days ago. He's a good player, but the only responsible way to operate is under the assumption that he won't be available. Hopefully this will give the club the kick up the arse it needs to bring in another midfielder.

Think we should wait for detail as to what the issue is. Could just be cautionary.

Another decent performance overall. Should really have won the game.

Santos impresses again, and some of Maguire's passing was top drawer. Amad put in a decent show. His closing down really is good.

Croke Park on Wednesday, against Leeds next up. Could be tasty!

I watched the full game. United looked good for the most part. But it wasn't a great PSG team. United should have won, their keeper made some good saves.

Based on the friendlies and some of last season, I still don't understand what the Fletcher twins offer. I've not seen the youth games, just their first-team appearances.

They don't seem to be overly special at defending or attacking. I know they are young, I just want to understand what the people at United see that I'm not yet. I'm not bashing them. They are still young enough to improve, but, based on what I've seen so far, I just hope we don't end up having to rely on them too much.

They are very young boys. Mount had the PSG guy stump on his foot. It was a contact thing. Hopefully, he will be okay.
