Redman, you might get your wish now Madrid have signed a proper lb our ex academy kid might be available. Not up to the job in Madrid. We did well getting what we got for him.

Jose knows you need experienced players when building a team. I know everyone keeps mentioning to keep buying young potential, but you just have to have experience in there first & foremost, then you can afford to sprinkle a few youngsters, and it helps them no end.

Same with our striker, sign an experienced one for him to learn off, along with a very experienced CB with pace, and along with the midfield, hopefully we get them, and we will be in a much better place...

Trent might be up for sale. I would take him. Please, Jose.

We got €6M and maybe a little extra in a sell on. Benfica got what was it €55M. We missed out on the big money. Have Madrid said Alvaro is surplus?

No, but he will be back up 3rd choice now, as he was 2nd choice. He didn't do well, and will probably get sold next summer. Our total income was £16.2m, which was all profit.
He was totally out of his depth in Madrid.
He is a good player, but not up to the EPL physically, either.

The Portuguese league suited him. He might get a good loan deal. He is a good player. I was only pulling your leg. He will find his level, but was completely overhyped coming out of that poor league.

Maybe. Haven't watched Madrid or him there. Said a few times, at Preston he had a nice left foot, and was ok physically in that league. If we got £16m in total, that's decent, the £50m would have been better. Still think he would have been better than Malacia.

Certainly interested in Hall at Lb.
