Realistically speaking what position is getting most out of this squad?
In my opinion when everyone is fit in all squads we would have maybe the 6th or 7th best squad on paper.
And in terms of 1st 11 maybe 6th or 7th best 11 on paper.
Stronger squads
Liverpool Chelsea villa Newcastle City arsenal. With arguably better 1st 11s too.
So maybe we were doing as well as possible.
I think the nonsense thought of us hugely under performing will be exposed as just that, nonsense, by the end of the season.
Somehow our interim has to find a way to get the best out of what he has. It won't be easy.
Bruno looked devastated at the end nearly broken.
Hopefully the return of amad a mbeumo will give them a bounce with a different face and voice in the dressing room and a derby game followed by arsenal will re-focus and motivate them.

Im not inspired by ole or Carrick although the latter comes across to me as much calmer and I think his less emotional and more pragmatic demeanor is more appealing to me.
If ole gets off to a poor start then he will be like a lamb to the slaughter and then panic sell set in again.
I think Carrick will get a bit more rope from the media and fans.
On the flip side if ole has a hot start like he did before then he could bluff his way through like he did before and ride the rave like that binmen that won the lottery before it all went pear shaped.
If any interim has us within 3 points of 4th spot and in a european place with a few games to go then I think we would all be pleased.

Id much rather we go for carrick, i like ole but think its best he doesn’t go through the wringer again.

Surely they can't bring Ole back? That would be madness, may as well as LVG to caretake.

Tony since when have any of this lots decisions made sense. Based on their track record alone, ole is exactly who they’ll bring in. If it goes wrong they will pin it all on him as they know the fan still remember how it ended for him last time. If I were ole I’d stay well clear.

They’ll do Ole and Carrick to cover, why they think, will be all bases and save them making the wrong call.

I didn’t love Ruben Amorim at all, but sacking him now was utterly ridiculous.
