I think Amorims status has become political now with the hierarchy. His record would see him sacked at 100% of top clubs and he himself seems to be begging for the sack lol.
Sacking him now would effectively being saying out loud that Dan Ashworth was right, which is hard for Ratcliffe, Berrada and Wilcox to do.
At the time Ashworth left, there was some aggressive briefing that the hierarchy were really disappointed with the suggestions he had to replace to Ten Hag such as Eddie Howe and the hierarchy were more impressed with Wilcox and Berrada s“sophisticated galaxy brains” who suggested a young up and coming manager from the continent.

If you look at Ineos at Lille they have gone through managers quite often they don’t have a great track record tbh.
Tbf if Dan ashworth wanted Southgate and those rumours of him not being on the same page as everyone else then it was right to get rid of him
We need everyone pulling in the same direction.

we sully peoples reputation. the stuff about southgate is what the club leaked and complete bs. Ashworth wanted someone with pl experience and was not in favor of the system Amorim wanted. He lost and got sacked and Wilcox is the architect of it all.
