Newcastle have bid, they haven't been chosen over us. And as such, if we have the funds to sign him we will very much see him in the red shirt. There is not a chance in hell that the lad chooses Newcastle over us.
Their fanbase would have you believe they are something of a big hitter these days, especially after their cup win but if you are a footballer. Do you.
A) Sign for the historic United, and potentially spearhead their revival.
OR
B) Sign for Newcastle, have the odd good cup run.
It is literally a no brainer. And its not arrogance, its just facts.

While I agree that we are probably still the bigger club on account of our history, looking at the the trajectories of the two sides, I could certainly understand why somebody would opt to sign for Newcastle instead of us right now.
Newcastle’s bid does place us in an awkward position, though. A few reputable sources have claimed that he is our number one target, so if he ends up signing for Newcastle instead, it doesn’t look great. Either he chooses them over us or we can’t afford him.

Newcastle or Manchester United. i know i'm a United fan. But if you have to think about it, then you aren't for us.
We have options for the front 3 positions already. Bruno, cunha, mbeuno, obi, mount, mainoo, amad, zirkzee and hojlund . I personally think zirkzee will come good this year and cement his place as 1st choice striker.

His footballing intelligence is our best in class, Zirkzee that is.

Zirkzee can play football, he's a very tidy player. He make lack a turn of pace but he has a good 1st touch which creates him the space to make up for it. I think he is in a similar mould to berbatov. If he has the right players around him then we have a top player on our hands.
