With lecce seemingly wants 40M for dorgu, why don't united try going for kayode (looking likely to join brentford on loan with 16M buy option) or alvaro fernandez (has a relatively cheap buyback clause)
Both are good wingbacks.

Do we just kidnap them and make them play for us? What’s to say either of them players want to come to United, especially Alvaro who we didn’t want and let go who’s playing well in the champions league?

I would imagine its the fact he's played on the wing and LB for Lecce which obviously fits with Amorim's system.

That sounds like a good plan
A good whiff of chloroform, smuggle them into old trafford and point guns at them every week so they'll play for us ?.

I was just joking btw ?
Just ranting why after all this years united are still demanded a premium prices for any player we showed interest (be it good player or mediocre player? ) While other clubs can buy talent at a reasonable price.

'Historically' Manchester United have been able to afford the cream of the crop. But 10 years of overspending, new financial restraints and of course a whopping amount of incompetence with salaries, contracts and general tomfoolery has put us in a frankly precarious position. I'm sure other clubs are onto this, but they're also onto the fact that we're desperate and we've done desperate things in recent windows (Casemiro, Antony, Wieghorst) . Hence a teenage fullback no-one apart from his parents had heard of 2 months ago is suddenly worth £30m. Chancers.

They must rate this guy as the alvaro is much cheaper and straight forward to get given the buy back clause but we are not moving that way. Also just signed the guy from equador so i assume the best we can hope for is seeing alvaro move and get additional fees from the sell on clause. Never seen the danish guy play or actually watched lecce.
