didnt realise how old he was.

in the decline?

dont watch much nfl so can't make a judgement but spending a lot on wages for him.

Im an avid viewer of the NFL and would say he is in decline, any 43yr old would be at his position. It smacks to me of a PR and money making decision, the sheer level of media interest, sponsorships, merchandise sales etc will now go through the roof. If they win its a bonus but as has been proved with us, often decisions are made with other motives in mind.

I would have to disagree with you Tim. From inception Brady was never blessed with any physical attributes to make you say he's an elite athlete. What he did have was impeccable accuracy passing the football. All Brady needs is good protection in the pocket and weapons down field and he will deliver. The latter which he didn't have this past season at the Patriots.

We will agree to disagree 😂 time will tell on how good Brady is now at this stage. Hopefully come September we will be able to find out. I still think the decision to sign him is financially motivated as he will bring huge exposure to what has been a below average franchise for the past 10 years.

Okay, so we have moved on from talking about soccer to the NFL, which has just a little bit more action in a game (11 minutes) than a weekend of postponed matches in the EPL.

Brady is a legend but my guess is he will not fair well in Tampa. I'll give it one season.

Only because it related to our loving owners. At this rate though we will be taking about Fifa, football manager or tiddlywinks 😂.

You know it's bad when people start discussing American Football :)

Long time reader, first time poster. Just registered to express amusement at the NFL discussion here. I’m from Tampa and believe that once the economy recovers from this current pandemic craziness, signing old man Brady will be a marketing master stroke. He’s sort of like the Ronaldo of the NFL. Everyone appreciates his immense talent and, well, probably wouldn’t mind a jersey if they're honest. Good health to everyone around the world! Stay safe!
