Interesting comments from Rashford in his interview with Lineker. Essentially he thinks the transition post SAF has never really started, because the club keeps sacking Managers and changing direction.

He's probably the last guy who should be talking about 'principles'.

Whilst neglecting to reference the culture of player power that stymied the club's goal of establishing a clear plan just as much as the manager merry-go-round, a culture driven by the endless thirst for greater social media profile and brand aggrandisement by himself and a couple of others - funny that.

Standard Rashford - head stuck in arse.

Yeah because different managers causes you to stop running, chasing down and putting in a shift. the arrogance of him is like garnacho. on another planet. Goid riddance to all of them brats.

Marcus Rashford should look at his own below par performances over the last 5 years rather than comment on the club.

It's hard to listen to Rashford pontificate. He let the club down as much as the club let him down. He is, nonetheless, correct that the club didn't have a clear identify for far too long. However, it is clear that under Ineos that is now present. Whether that leads to success is separate, but the structure is very clearly much improved.

These players these days are so insulated in their own bubble they haven’t got a clue. Rashford is the prime example, thinks he has done nothing wrong and it’s everyone else’s fault. No Marcus you decided not to put a shift in stopped tracking back and basically stuck two fingers up to everyone. Well I hope in a few years you look back and regret everything that you did but I won’t hold my breath. I never once believed the manc born and bred and nonsense. Any normal fan would run through brick walls for the club. Anyway good riddance.

And he has gone to a club that can't even register him yet???.

Barca are clearly prioritising Joan García’s registration over Rashford.

The Ter Stegen situation is interesting, Barcelona seems to be trying to classify him as long-term injured to free up salary cap space under FFP rules, but Ter Stegen himself says he’ll be back in three months. If he returns sooner, his wages count against the cap, which stalls the registration of other players like Rashford.

Rashford is trying to look professional because he wants Barcelona to take up their option at the end of the season.

He was asked why the club have struggled.

He can’t say it’s the players fault, some of them are his buddies.
He can’t say that it’s, even partially, his fault, that might call his attitude into question.
He can’t blame managers, that would look petty.

So, he trots out everyone’s favourite excuse that it was all the club’s fault.

It’s sad, but Rashford isn’t unique in refusing to accept any accountability for what has happened. In fact, Ole is the only one I can recall accepting any blame after they left.

So he should have Danny the bloke was a useless manager utterly useless and put us back years.

The thing is that he did accept responsibility, Ken. Every other manager blamed anyone besides themselves.

I’ve always said that Ole was a terrible choice, but he has my respect for at least acknowledging that he shares the blame for our failure when he was in charge.

Forget his form or what happened which led to the drop off. Rashy is a fan like us all and he will want the best for us. I think he's basically telling us to stick with this manager in a round about way. a lot of what he said was truth.

His PR machine in full flow, Lineker and Richards all over him, neither of them asked him why he didn’t try for 2 years. He plays in Spain now, I don’t want to see or hear about him.

Did you not rate Ole Ken? You never mentioned it.

And that's fair Danny. That's because he loves the club and was brought up the right way within the club. He was brought up within the club to take responsibility and be held accountable.
He could not turn down the chance he had a go and was useless in just about every aspect of the job.
Now for the 1st time since sir alex left that I feel the club have a leadership team in place that I largely trust and have faith in.
We have had many false dawns but I don't know about you but this feels different to me. It feels like a new fresh start. Its an extremely low Base to improve from with a couple more astute signings we can put out a very competitive 11 when the begin to gel. if they don't get a couple more it will be a lot less consistent i think. ???.
