Will Zlatan be Mourinho's first choice striker? Or will he be an impact sub?

NickIsARed

First Choice without a shadow of a doubt. You don't pay those wages for a sub for one year and more to the point this is ZLATAN. Nobody benches the Zlat man.

That's what I thought too. This devils fan I'm talking with reckons that United are looking for another striker, and he wants a world class back-up. He doesn't seem to understand that two world class players jostling for one striker position rarely works out well! Either that, or he thinks Zlatan will play back-up in a Drogba kind of role. Fat chance.

You do pay that sort of money for a sub if his name is Falcao.

Devils fan?

Is the rumour true that Mkhitaryan is paying part of the transfer fee himself?

NickIsARed

1.) 27 Jun 2016 14:22:40
Probably not. He probably forfeits a fee if he's asked for a transfer. Guessing 10%.

And it has as much to do with wages as it does with Mourinho/ prestige of the club.

Tancredi Palmeri? The same guy who said that old Inter coach was in Liverpool to talk about replacing Rodgers.

Did Pedro's desire weaken because of how long United took to negotiate a deal? Or was he always preferring a move elsewhere if a better offer came, and only thought of United as a compromise?

Honestly, rival fans say 'next year is liverpool's year' a lot more than actual liverpool fans. The joke is more outdated than the 'Arsenal 4th' joke.

ed001, I thought you've met ed002 before?

NickIsARed

{Ed001's Note - no, sadly it has not happened yet, even when we were both in the same small town on the same day and were literally 100 yards apart. His schedule does not allow time for us mere mortals to meet her. Running the world, deciding who wins presidential elections etc, takes a lot of work.

I have met Ed007, if he is made from girders they are chunky ones! He is Billy Bunter made flesh and bone.....

Oh, and he was the cause of the over consumption of buckie not the result!}

I don't understand why you can't comprehend what I'm saying. Did you not consider that maybe Liverpool fans bring up Chelsea fans when you attack us. because you're a Chelsea fan? Can't you see the relevance?

To paraphrase what you said, 'Unlike United fans, Liverpool fans will also attack past management'. Maybe because United fans do not have any reason to attack the past management that won them 40-odd trophies in the last 30 years? So of course it's a product of circumstance. Just like how Chelsea fans deify Mourinho to the point of sheer delusion because he is their 'special one' that elevated Chelsea to relevance.

If you as a Chelsea fan, attack Liverpool fans, then I don't see why you take umbrage with Liverpool fans like returning serve about Chelsea fans. You also have a very warped idea about what embarrassing oneself is.

Still, I love your work on here.

NickIsARed

{Ed002's Note - I am not a Chelsea "fan" - I support Chelsea but don't care at all what your opinion is of them. Liverpool fans bring up Chelsea as they are seemingly obsessed with the club. Why paraphrase anything I said, people are able to understand it - it was plain English. You are tedious and an embarrassment to the decent Liverpool fans - you have done a fantastic job of making the Manchester United fans understand that they are not the only laughing stock in English football. Don't post on this page anymore.}

Blaming Chelsea for what?

Diverting, or just defending? I'm not denying that Liverpool have she*p fans, but saying that we are inherently just worse than everyone else is a stretch. A football fan-base's behaviour is a product of their club's circumstance.

And no thanks, I don't mind it here sometimes!

NickIsARed

{Ed002's Note - It is the standard trick - embarrass yourselves, then bring Chelsea in to it. As to your comment that a "football fan-base's behaviour is a product of their club's circumstance" is simply palpable nonsense. You have done enough to embarrass the Liverpool fans for the day.}
