Di Marzio has been wrong more than he's been right over the years. he's a pain to UTD fans because sometimes, just sometimes he calls it correctly which always leaves us wondering "is this true or not"

My guess on the Pogba situation is that he's guessing maybe. maybe not :-/.

Yeah Tancredi Palmeri is agreeing with this, he tweeted today

All confirmed: Manchester United reached agreement with Pogba for 13m€ wages per year and will bid 120m€

Note: if Manchester United finalise the deal, then will break any record paying Pogba 145m€ (120 to Juve + 25 to agent)

Pogba wages at Manchester United would be approximately treble than what he earns at Juventus

I've no idea how reliable he is but it lines up with what you posted.

I bet Pogba ends up at Madrid they just use Utd to bid up the price then Madrid step in and they will sell Tony Kroos to City just to add salt to our wounds. Our midfield is and won't be good enough to compete at the very top level even after this transfer window.

Unfortunately, but maybe for good, Pogba wants Real move as suggested by a couple of sources. United may have an agreement about the players demands, but if his top priority is to play under Zidane and he is waiting for their offer, I don't want him near our team. Di Maria II, no thanks.

Either way it shows Mourinho can tempt top players even without champs league. I'm sure if we don't get Pogba Jose will get another top player, Matuidi being linked as an alternative not bad most clubs would want him in their sides. Still think we will get a couple more later in the window when we shift some deadwood.

Begs the question. is this another Ramos situation then?

I hope we don't get used again by another greedy player!

Absolutely, mate, Mourinho ( I have to say I'm not his biggest fan) is good at tempting good players, which we definitely lacked under Moyes and LVG.

Tancredi Palmeri? The same guy who said that old Inter coach was in Liverpool to talk about replacing Rodgers.

And it has as much to do with wages as it does with Mourinho/ prestige of the club.

Is NickisaRed a Liverpool fan by any chance?

Do all players not play for wages Nick.
It's up to each of them to maximise their earnings. Are Liverpool paying mane less than Southampton? Everything is relative. I think pogba would have at least 3 times the impact at United that mane or say millner will have at Liverpool so costs 3 times as much.

What a player earns has been a hot topic on here for a while, i don't care really because there are a lot of factors.
But as soon as its a new fancy name everything changes . Its nuts do people really care or is it just to add another point to there argument.

Sly sports reporting Woodward is in talks with juve for the last 2 days over a 100 million pound deal.
