How bad must our academy and young players be if they cannot get any game time instead of some of these muppets
For me we have nothing to lose with starting yoro and heaven at cb, amas at left back and there must be a rb in one of the other teams that is no worse than dalot
I would rather watch young hungry kids who have potential play and lose than continue to watch first team players, recognised international players putting in defensive horror shows week after week after week
Amad has been terrible for nearly 12 months
Our captain and leader who is a shadow of himself from last season, give cheap passes away and then walk back after claiming we don't press.
Decision making from this team has been poor for years regardless of managers and again today it was on full show
Bruno could have squared it to Amad to score when he miss hit his shot
Amad only needed to place the ball into either corner in his sitter, Amad had another opportunity to square it earlier before his shot after nicking the ball
Bruno's no look pass for there first goal then he preceded to walk back, two cbs dreadful defending for that first along with santos who other than his lame attempted effort to slide Rodgers thought had a very good first half and along with baleba o thought once them 2 went off we lost all ability in central midfield to be competitive
Martinez shouldn't play again, what a disgrace, bangs on about leadership not doing there jobs and then puts in that stinker and loses his head and ultimately cots us any chance of getting any points
As much as the ownership are leaches
These so call players are a shambles and they cannot hide away, utter dross and if anyone thinks we're not in a relegation battle needs to get ready because we are awful
We don't score goals and can't keep clean sheets where atm on time are the points coming from? This is the worst we have been since I can remember and we've had some dreadful seasons
When the form is bad you need fighters in your team and leaders and we don't have any
You can't trust the twits about Carrick to get the next manager the right choice
And while they won't get rid of players who underperform year after year the manager is always the one who takes the fall.
You can bring in the likes of conte but even he would struggle to get these lot playing the basics
They just don't have anything about them and it's a sham from top to bottom
At least we are in some kind of battle this season and there is some great away days coming next year in the championship.

Amad played very well for his national team. Yes he should have scored from his chances but he was at least trying. Like the rest of the team his confidence is too low.
I don't believe that the players don't care. Nobody goes to work happily week after week knowing they are likely to be criticised deeply if their performance is not great.
Look at how de Zerbi has given Spurs a structure. A shape. A way of playing. Discipline.
Yes Carrick needs a left back and striker which are major points but the current squad are definitely capable of much much better than they are showing.
I concur that we should play Yoro and Heaven. Maguire is not the future so little point playing him and especially if he has little positive leadership effect on the other players.
Amass needs to bulk up. Pre season he was bullied every game he played. Promote other bigger youth players or play three at the back for the moment use Amad and Cunha as wing backs and have a middle four of Baleba Mainoo Tielemans and Santos. Then play Mbwuemo and Bruno. Give the midfielders instructions so that you have a double pivot which enables the defence to be shielded but then allows the midfielders to take it in turns to support the attack. This way they save energy until their fitness is better. If we control midfield then it should make it easier for the defence and attack.
Key to all this is discipline. Every player has to be instructed again and again by drills how to keep their position. How to keep the shape of the team that is necessary and how to make sure they don't let runners roam freely like Rodgers did. And that means Carrick or the new manager has to lay down the law and push them til they totally understand and follow what they are told.
