If Carrick is still here after the break, the suffering will resume. Atrocious start to the season. We were lectured that we had a decent window and that Casemiro will not be missed and that Tielemans and Santos were the answer. Santos is already tearing up the contract i think.
We were told that Hull is a difficult game and we lost, Everton is a difficult place to go, City at home with 10 men is difficult as well, brighton B team at home is trouble and of course Fulham is difficult too. We are also told that there are no easy games in the PL but of course all of United's opponents are given easy games by us.
The first game of the season showed us what wasn't working and yet here we are doing the exact same thing after a month. Believe it or not the players are not interested in playing for Carrick anymore. Sesko is the first to show it openly and if Carrick isn't binned soon more will follow.

Let's play a quiz.
Who stamped out player power with immediate affect.
Who provided a vision for where we were trying to get to
Who wasn't backed by the board.
As much as the players were to blame for the approach Amorim was aiming for, or lack of execution, the board were equally to blame for not backing him in the January window.
He can only blame himself for downing tools, but fair play to him.
Carrick faces the same, a board that doesn't back him, and players that can't play his style (not that I know what that is by the way).
The fact that we are having to endure the likes of Shaw, Maguire, Dalot, etc etc again is criminal. Amorim would have binned them off. Sent them to the scrap heaps and moved on. Carrick isn't up to the job of managing them, and should be moved on.
Wilcox and crew are not up to the task, and should also be moved on.
I have visions of the club asking Carrick what he thinks of aforementioned Ayers and he would just be too nice and say he will work with them.
Separately. where is MdL?? Almost a year now.

They were deemed fit enough last season, but I am starting to believe that was built up fitness from the Amorim regime, and Carrick just rode that wave of good fortune through to a UCL position.
He has not had a good game (not great, just good), since the Arsenal and city victories, it has been downhill from there.
I think it is a combination of fitness, player power and capabilities of the squad.
