Looking at the money Spurs have spent and their start to the season, it really highlights that spending money is no guarantee of success.
Also we might have dodged a bullet with Mathus Fernandes, who, if things don't turn around at Spurs, could end up with the unenviable record of being the first player relegated from the EPL in three consecutive seasons.

Spurs will be fine. They have a nearly new team, so will take a while. I expect them to be in and around the top 6 in a few weeks/months time.
On paper, they have a really good team. Add Ndiaye from Everton to their front line, and they will be very dangerous.

Fall guy, it's only when it's United that those on here say time, and lots of it, is needed. Spurs, nope, they are not allowed time. Some were still giving RA time after virtually 2 years, but people measure others with a different stick.
Same as our signings, if Liverpool signed Tielemans and Santos there would be huge laughter. We sign them and they're great players, someone even suggested they'd be world-class soon.

One of the issues with the current team is a severe lack of pace. Both in terms of physical pace and the speed at which they play.
I'm sure you'll see it again today v Ipswich.
Tielmans and Mainoo starting today. Both as slow as each other. If they get a slight bit out of position, they'll never get back in time.
