1. At a time we are letting Bezos and Amazon close access to the club. He is part of a consortium buying into Liverpool and I think we should be uncomfortable with that close access, given his business interests. Is this a good decision in the circumstances? Whilst he won’t have business access, you have to wonder if there is real time knowledge to be gained right now.
2. Our major rival, another major rival, will have investment and rich owners whilst we sit there with the best part of £1Bn debt round our necks with too many still in denial about the impact.

1. I think that's a bit of a leap.
It's fair to question whether there's a potential conflict of interest given Amazon's involvement with a Manchester United documentary and Bezos' reported interest in investing in Liverpool. However, that doesn't mean he's being given privileged access to United's operations or sensitive information.
There will be legal agreements, confidentiality obligations, and governance procedures in place, and any perceived conflict would be heavily scrutinised. On top of that, clubs don't allow documentary crews unrestricted access to commercially sensitive discussions in the first place.
Unless there's evidence of information being shared improperly, the idea that Liverpool could gain some sort of real-time competitive advantage through an Amazon documentary feels more like speculation than a genuine concern.
2. I don't think anyone is denying that United's debt is a problem or that the Glazers have had a hugely negative impact. However, football isn't operating in a world anymore where the richest owner simply writes a cheque and buys success.
If Bezos invested in Liverpool, or even if Elon Musk bought United tomorrow, PSR rules would still limit how much money could be put into transfers and wages. Owner wealth matters, but it's nowhere near as decisive as it was before financial regulations tightened.
Liverpool are already one of the biggest revenue-generating clubs in the world and aren't exactly lacking financial backing. Any new investment would probably have more impact on commercial growth, infrastructure and long-term projects than creating some massive spending advantage.

If United has not been paying interest payments, we could have spent a lot more on wages and transfers. Our debt basically turned the world's richest revenue-generating club into a midtable team.
Poor purchases, and a complete inability to sell anyone, compounded the problem, no doubt. But the interest payments have been a major issue.

Rich owners would most definitely have a massive impact on the club. Owners who do not take dividends, and who will invest their own money, can invest a lot into a club in ways that financially help it.

He will have nothing to do with the outcomes of the documentary, and, I dare say, probably won't even watch it.

You would be stupid not to understand that the decision was made and contracts signed before there was any public knowledge of the potential minor investment into Liverpool. So to question the decision making on that basis is just being silly and looking for something to moan about. Who's decision making are your questioning when the Liverpool interest was unknown at the time?
Nobody underestimates the impact of our poor owners just not everybody moans about it every day.
You like to be negative and share your negative opinions on all things united and moan about things and that's your perogative.

I am realistic when so many just want and see rosy. It is not negative to be realistic based on known facts.
Am I looking forward to the season? Yes, always have, probably not as much as some seasons, like when we added Tevez to Rooney and Ronaldo. I won't shy away from saying we have not set the world alight in the transfer market, and that means I lack realistic confidence in what they are doing.
Still time to make a difference. I would probably be more excited if I was still able to have my season ticket and follow away as well. Such is life.
I understand contracts, and they don't appear out of nowhere, yet it has to be uncomfortable in the circumstances now. I do wonder if the decision maker is a tad uncomfy.

Why would he be uncomfortable? He made a decision which was right at the time and approved.
Why would you question his decision making when something happened after the fact.
Your just looking for something to moan about and that's the best thing you could find today.
I'll look forward to tomorrow's moab if the day but I hope its better thought out as this one was stupid.

I don't question decisions I've made if they were right at the time, with all the information I had at that time.
So no, Red Man, I don't question decisions based on hindsight and new, different circumstances.
You don't make real money that way.
If I've made the right decision with all the info available to me at that time, then I don't look back. It's a waste of time and energy.
I don't live in the land of 'what if'.
If something doesn't work out, I'll change it, simple as that.
Sometimes it may take time and money to reverse deviations that were made that didn't work out, but that's life and business.
I'm going to see the team tomorrow morning and then to the game tomorrow. Really looking forward to going to Croke Park to see this. It really is a huge moment in our national history to see this game taking place in Croke Park. I'm not sure if you're aware of the full history and story behind Bloody Sunday, but it's worth a read.
