that was the youngest side we have ever put out in the epl.
The 3rd youngest epl side of all time.
Those who said give the kids a chance those that want open heart surgery this is what it looks like.
In 1996 we lost 2 of our 1st 3 games that preceeded you can't win anything with kids.
These played may well not reach those heights amd they won't all make it but I fully agree with the idea of throwing them in at this time given the circumstances.
Hopefully we will have 2 games where the results mean something between now and the end of the season every other game is about learning imo.
If we do won the europa league it will have a very positive impact fingers crossed we can.

To be fair, I think there were quite a few positives to take from the game. The only real negative was losing MdL to injury.
We gave minutes to Dorgu (20), Amass (18), Fredricson (20), Obi (17), Mainoo (20), Garnacho (20), and Yoro (19).
That's 7 players who are 20 or younger. While we also gave valuable game time to Shaw, Mount and Amad as they make their way back to full match fitness after injury. Only MdL, Ugarte and Dorgu could probably expect to be first choice, the others are squad players or kids.
Given that we were away to a good Brentford side who are in very good form right now, then it's hardly a shocking result.
In fact we can be proud and take solace in the way a very young side fought back from 4-1 down to make it a slightly more respectable 4-3 loss. Maybe kids would have had let their heads drop going 4-1 down away from home. But the way they showed fight and courage was something that shows they might have the right mentality/ attitude to at least give them a chance of succeeding here.
