Might not have noticed my post that made its way onto discussions but Baillys runs in preseason. could he have a role at DM?

It's pre season, but you can play what's ahead of you. He plays as a CB alongside Telles, who can't defend.
He has made a huge impact in 2 goals in 2 games, is our quickest CB and has been very aggressive. He lacks discipline but he's always been a good defender. Wouldn't be wrong to say just on preseason form he's been our best CB.
I want the new United to promote players who are playing well. Bailly deserves a first team run, if he doesn't get it then what's the point of giving him mins? If Bailly played first half, we might not have conceded.

Bailey’s biggest issue has and will always be his fitness. Even if he were suited to the dm role, his inability to avoid injuries would make him a poor fit for it. I like Bailey, but I think the time has come for him to leave. His recent performances will hopefully have added a million or two to his price tag.

likeable, honest no nonsense CH - normally would be a great asset-problem is the rush of blood to the head every 2 or 3 games and the fact that he's probably in the treatment room right now having played 2 games. Needs a fresh start elsewhere and good luck to him.

He is a player who gets himself into all sorts of trouble but does get some great recoveries.
I sort of like him but I'm not sure he will ever be consistent enough for united.
As for being a midfielder imo that would be a complete catastrophe.
He lacks most of the attributes a midfielder needs.
