hi, or should I say evening edds!
quick question if I may?
a guy from barca (i know, not again) but do you guys have any info on us being interested in sergi roberto? a lot of reports on the net that we do, would he fit mufc's mould? also with a lot of spaniards being here could sway the decision?
on another note, mccarthy of everton? van gaal seems to like this one and given the ok?
could you shed any light if possible?

is it true we going after pepe of RM? apparently, they want to replace him with inigo martinez? to be honest, i'd rather have martinez and think we should go for him? thoughts? (oh, I don't rate pepe either by the way and he's 31!)

are we still in for ander herrera? we have until the end of june, then his release clause goes sky high! (not that its cheap anyway)

is miralem pjanic on utd's summer radar? I know LvG wants strootman but he won't be available until january at the earliest? he defo shouldn't be not looked at? surely a player plus cash would be feisable?

shaktar have been having a few probs with their players not reporting in for training due to 'not feeling safe' I believe? 2 members I wouldn't mind drawing on are doug costa and alex teixeira? do you think LvG would be interested? I wouldn't mind alex in my squad?

Now, for me, his technical ability football wise is good, but unfortunately his interlect is sh*t.
if we could just drum this into him so he stays off all the KFC and burger king, diets well and trains hard, sorry, very hard, he could play a big part for utds midfield and utd in general?
Be interested on your views, because at times, and a game that stands out against schalke in 08 he was IMMENSE! now I think, was has happened to that player? I just hope he sorts out his eating habits and trains well and proves people wrong!
Just still think he has a lot to offer that's all and we're not helping him as best we could?

1.) He is not good enough for a top 10 team in the league mate and just one of those who never panned out.
2.) In my view its not just the weight issue, its also his attitude in not addressing the weight issue.
Whatever he's been paid as a UTD player over the years he should give to charity because he sure as hell don't deserve it.
3.) If he can't eat right and train right then there's no place for him at a big club, its just basic professionalism which he doesn't seem to be able to grasp, get shot of him because he's wasted enough of our time!!

5.) How can you help a player who is so unfit that he hasn't been able to complete a full 90 minutes in about two seasons?
He has been given ample opportunities to get his act together, but he just can't do it. As I said earlier, the longer he's out injured the more people forget what an average player he is, even at his best. So let's take off the rose tinted glasses for a minute.
He had a loan move last season, and Fiorentina soon realised what a waster he was and he was dropped there too. Did they look for a permanent transfer? Of course they didn't because even after a few months they could tell that he isn't good enough to play at the top level.
If we had any sense, we'd cut our loses and release him because he will never be fit enough or good enough for a top side, and nobody else will be fool enough to waste their money on him.
6.) Have to agree. It's his lack of self discipline in relation to weight and fitness that means he needs to go. Top players become top players through dedication and work ethic.
Plenty have the talent but few are prepared to make the sacrifices required to make it to the top level. Anderson is a prime example of this!
7.) Its a shame really he is the only "golden boy" to be a flop, golden boy list contains people like messi Ronaldo, isco and co
8.) This is so boring to still be even thinking of him as a United player. He is the dictionary definition of a flop. He will never ever even be a success as even a squad player as he is lazy, fat and useless.
9.) Totally agree roman. I feel the same about nani also. How many years do people get and how old do they have get before people stop saying "their young and have potential"
