As a professional ecologist, I hate seeing the impacts of climate change and that very little is being done to mitigate or improve the situation. It really needs a top-down (i. e. government level) collaborative approach where every country and individual is pulling their weight to provide a more sustainable future.

In the UK, one of our biggest problems (and the result of being overpopulated) is loss and fragmentation of habitats through development, and the governments failure to abide by its own policies on conservation. I do fear it will be a case of too little, too late by the time governments start implementing sufficient practices to prevent catastrophic global changes.

Given his injury history, his physical strength/ explosive power and flexibility (e. g. ability to make long throw-ins), I've often wondered if Bale has a hypermobility condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Much like any condition, the symptoms vary from person to person, but it can be quite debilitating if not managed carefully. Several rounds of golf on top of football training and matches would be more than enough cause for persistent muscular/ joint injuries and fatigue, and it is difficult for non-sufferers to understand why you physically do not have the energy to chase back and defend all the time when you run out of batteries.

Conversely, he could just be a bit lazy and happy to settle for a large pay packet and luxury lifestyle!

{Ed001's Note - he never had any problem chasing back in the past and, if that is the issue, he should be following doctor's advice and dropping the golf.}

I think Ed posts should come with an agree/disagree button as well. We could disagree with the original poster and agree with the Ed's response then (or vice versa).

This might encourage competition between Ed's as to how many agree/disagrees they get, or their percentage of agrees. I'd suggest a leaderboard for all to see and the Ed at the bottom each month gets some kind of forfeit. Kind of pointless, I know, but it would at least add some more entertainment for the editors!

{Ed002's Note - It is not going to happen. The whole concept of these buttons is a complete waste of time.}

I think it's a bit harsh referring to KLOOT as a "hanging burden".
