Hi Ed002, how's things in your part of the world? Save a possible move for Amrabat, do you envisage any further incoming transfer activity for MU this summer?

{Ed002's Note - They would like ideally like another attacking player, a young goalkeeper, possibly a CB and perhaps another midfield player if Fred, Donny Van de Beek and Scott McTominay all depart.}

Wow going to be busy then hopefully. All depends on outgoings obviously, maybe some movement on that front this week if we are lucky.

I think that highlights just how poor the squad building has been over the past decade.

EtH has already bought GK, CB, LB, CDM, CM, CAM, RW, and ST. Bringing 8 new players into the squad, on top of adding Garnacho from the youth team. While we would ideally like to add another 3-4 this summer.

Potentially bringing in upto 13 new players into the first team squad within two summer transfer windows.

That also doesn't take into account players like Mainoo or Alvaro Fernandez who could be added from the youth team this season as well.

love to see Amrabat come in and get the no 4 shirt - those of a certain age will remember when the leagues were full of this type of player in a number 4 shirt.

Hopefully we sign Ambrabat. ed002 mentioned we tried to sign him in Jan but did not work out and ended with Sabitzer.

He is a warrior and tough.

He was bandaged up game after game in the world cup carrying an injury and still was outstanding. Looked great even with an injury against the Portuguese and French sides who are loaded with midfield talent.

I remember in the 442 the CB being 5 and 6.
4 and 8 were central midfiekd.

I mever really understood that as a kid. Nor why Robbo was 7 not thatbit mattered se all wamted to be Robbo in the 6 shirt.

Think i remember McQueen wearing the 6 shirt a lot 1982 ish?

But a lot has happened in this head since and i won't swear on it.
