I was really excited about Quenda potentially coming in and thouhgt he could have a similar impact to Dorgu. For Chelsea he will be more attacking winger than wing back which may be his preference.
I am sure we were interested but with all of the turnover recently and coming, money situation of the cluv currently we are likely not in a position to compete currently.
We will have alternative options.

Fingers crossed that doesn’t mean another season of Dalot, I don’t think I can cope. Hopefully like you say we have other options, I’m not going to be too devastated that we aren’t signing a 17 year old on an 8 year deal but hopefully we have a back up plan for this scenario.

im sure there was interest from ourselves but maybe the club stepped back due to cost and possibly the emergence of the highly rated Kamason from the u18's who is having a fantastic season.

I thought Diallo's games at RWB have been the best anyone has played there this season, although I like him as a 10 too.
Maybe Frimpong is a shout but I think we'll be looking a little further down the ladder. A few players in the Prem at Palace/ Bournemouth have caught the eye and maybe in the past we'd have turned our noses up but the likes of Wharton / Semenyo / Kluivert would start in this team.
