I'd be very happy with this signing, moreso than Cunha.
He would work so well with Amad at RWB that it could actually turn out be among the very best summer signings in Europe.
Mateta next please.

Big Mbeuno and Mateta fan here too, but I feel we're destined for the other pair. However Cunha in full flight when he's up for it is different level, if he can reproduce it often enough.

Really like Mateta too. I wonder why no-one else has taken a punt on him, particularly after last season.

A very very good signing if he can be got. I'm a massive fan of his.
Plus, 2 proven premier League players, kind of going back to what we used to do. Take players who perform week in week out for so called lesser teams and bring them into united.
I like it a lot.
Would love gyokeres by the way.

Mbeumo would be immense if he came in, the story's you read a about him suggest a dedicated hard working player who does whatever needed to succeed.
Him and Cunha could be dynamic and bring goals and assists. potentially making up for if we can't get our top line striker this year.
Mateta could do well and has been used to playing on 343 formation in the PL.

The Ipswich elephant in the room is being completely ignored lol.

Mbeumo probably going to Newcastle.

Mbeumo is a winger, we don't use wingers. Great player but really can't see him in the RA system.

Ruby uses a wide player for one of his 10s and the other 10 being more traditional, so Cunha and Mbuemo make sense but sure be other interested parties in Mbuemo.

Rewz, Mbeumo is not simply a winger. He plays right across the front line. He steps in as a CF when needed, and tends to prefer to play in the inside channel rather than near the touch line. As seen by the number of goals he scores. He has a phenomenal work rate and is a intelligent presser of the ball.
Given that Amorim has previously set his Sporting side up with a traditional winger at wingback on at least one side, along with another typical winger as one of the inside forwards I think Mbeumo makes a lot of sense as a signing.
He should slot in almost seamlessly in the right inside forward position. With Cunha in that left inside forward position. Although this does raise a question of where Bruno fits into this team? Especially with Amad, Mount and possibly Zirkzee also vying for a starting spot in those inside forward positions. Does that push Bruno back into on of the double pivot positions? I think he's a good option there for some games, but can be a little positionally lax leaving us open centrally in other games.
