To be fair, we've been really unlucky with Managers, Moyes not good enough, LVG not good enough, Mourinho not good enough, Ragnick not good enough, Solskjaer not good enough, ETH not good enough and now Amorim not good enough. It's almost like there are bigger issues at the club but that can't be true so we'll continue to blame the manager.
Do these managers not understand that we live in a world where we need instant gratification.

I agree Malaga, clean slate for everyone and who knows how everyones teams will settle with new players in/ leaving.
We can all have a little hope at this point! Even if a little misguided.
Cracking first game, would be even more intriguing if we end up getting Sesko to see how both teams do with the 2 strikers both teams had interest in.
I think you guys have done some good business and look stronger depth wise than last year. Even more so if you can get Eze in as well.

Morning Málaga, it'll be an interesting opening game, I'm hoping we can catch Arsenal cold at the start of the season. I'm grown up enough to admit that right now there is a big gulf in quality between our two sides. Arsenal are title challengers and United will be hoping to scrape a UCL place.
Being a fan of my age I actually miss the good old days of United and Arsenal fighting it out for the title, Sir Alex vs Arsene, battle of the buffet, etc. 1996 to 2004 was peak EPL for me.
Wish you the best of luck this season from the third day of the season onwards ?.

I'm highly wary that our midfield as it stands is going to get targeted by pretty much every team. It needs two excellent players in this system and we don't have 1. Bruno is like a bull in a china shop there, he'll create as much as he puts us in trouble.

If Gyokeres fires for them, then I think Arsenal will do very well, they have been missing a proper striker. I see it between them and Liverpool this season.

Arsenal have lots of quality. It's a big year for them, and certainly for Arteta. His approach is often much too negative but the end of last season showed a change. Tbh I find the guy incredibly irritating but Saliba, Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard, Saka and now Gyokeres give them such a strong side that I feel they should be much closer to Liverpool than last year.
