watching chelsea vs liverpool. A few observations.

I looked at the chelsea bench and starting lineup and must say no idea about 75% of their players and if they are from this window or previous but reminds me of the brad pit movie moneyball and they ahev quite a few players out injured so crazy to stuff when they are all back. How on earth do you pick a team and what do you do with the rest of these guys.

Liverpool's hungarian guy a really good player and mcallister class so they have bought very well.

Raheem sterling is a waste of money and city made him look better than he is and shrewd business by city getting rid off him.

As i write this chelsea have just levelled.

Kid called chukumeka playing as cm no idea who he is but really solid and nicholas jackson a bit of menace upfront. I think jackson will score quite a few.

With Calcedo coming in and god knows who else they will buy and few months for them to get bedded in, I can see them being very good especially second half of the season.

I imagine they'll spend billions on a new CF too.

I think only 2 of their starting line up didn’t play in the premier league last season, how don’t you know of them?

Chukwumeka they signed from Villa.

Chukumeka has been touted for top last couple of years. Came from Villa.

Can see why both teams are fighting over DM though.

Gallagher and Colwill both have impressed too, a lot for Chelsea to be excited about for the future i think, so long as they get their chances.

Very entertaining game!
Enzo imo was immense, always was one step ahead.

Last season I pointed out how good Enzo was in one particular game, I thought he was superb today.

An observation was that Chelsea look to be in a better place than people thought, with players to come in. Liverpool look like they have holes in defence and in front of defence, hence why they are trying to buy in CM. I think CD looks an issue for them to me. Uncertainty in CD, because they got lucky. However, £115m for Caecedo is nuts whichever club he goes to. Liverpool looked a step below where they have been in recent seasons.

Both bang average for me when the bar is set so high by City
Can see City romping it at a stroll.

A lotnof very good teams will be bang average compared to City.

I think both a year or two from challenging in the best case scenario.

Chelsea with no European games and the squad they have will get better. They had 67% possession against Liverpool yesterday, that's very unusual for Liverpool and maybe says something about Chelsea.

They were poor first 25 minutes but then reminded me of the old Chelsea, very physical and athletic team. Personally I was more impressed by them than Liverpool who are a counter attacking team and depend on long balls to the wings to make something happen.

New castle looked very good and Tonali looked class. Spurs were better than I had thought so going to be a good test to see where we are with away games at spurs and arsenal in the next few weeks.
