Apparently joel glazer has input to the smallest detail.
We had thee Thiago wrapped up before he signed for Liverpool, however Joel Glazer stopped the deal because Thiago wanted a 4 year contract but Glazer would only allow him 3.
The myth the Glazers don’t have any input is nonsense and anyone says different hasn’t a clue.

As owners i am pretty sure they would have to sign off on all transfers. Doubt the executives at the club can just do things without their blessings. so the story could be true.

Get fhe feeling a lot of sponsorships and revenue are tied with ronnie if he goes so do they. To be fair, Thiago is one of the most injury prone players around and missed around half of Liverpool’s games through injury during his first two seasons at the club. That’s only going to get worse over the next few years of his Liverpool contract, by the end of which he will be 33.
