The ridiculous thing is I expect we'll win our next two games against Spurs and Atalanta, then maybe a draw against City (oddly Ole has the best head to head record against Pep of all managers in the league, probably because he plays best as the underdog) .

After that the club will back him heading into the international break.

After which we will continue to stumble along, probably losing our last two UCL games against Villarreal and Young boys meaning we drop down into the Europa League AGAIN.

Then if forced the club will sack Ole late December/ early January (Happy Christmas everyone) . Then hire the wrong manager. While any new manager coming in won't have time to assess the squad and find any potential January signings (great that keeps the wallet closed) . They will then struggle to fully implement their style until after next summer after they have been able to bring in the players they need to play that style.

Of course we will likely bring in their 3rd or 4th choice option for each position, or even a player they don't want because they are commercially viable and great for the brand and to get the fans back on side.

Rinse and repeat and continue the cycle of incompetence.

Shappy, although that has been the trend with Ole but i seriously doubt it will happen this time. Ole has lost the dressing room where players openly criticizing his methods etc. Earlier, he had the players playing for him atleast to save his job, now they wont. What if he drops Ronaldo, he will have a fan revolt to face as well.

United Addict, I think he should drop Ronaldo. I know he's scored a lot of goals since coming in but against better teams we need a worker. Cavani does 95% of what Ronaldo does going forward and presses. The team plays better without him.

Yeah, what's he got to lose at this stage, if he drops Ronnie and we win it's three points and sends a message to Ronaldo and rest that they need to work to stay in the team and no player is bigger than the manager.

If they lose he's probably gone anyway.

Will they fight for Ole though, and do they have enough self respect and pride to give 100%? It only takes 3-4 not to then there is a huge problem in on field results.

Each day seems to bring out more stories that its not a happy camp at all, today it seems a few don't think Maguire should be captain, the training is too easy and boring (Easy = a team that covers less distance and makes less tackles then 80 % of the other teams in the league in first 9 games)

School teams and pub teams aren't different to PL teams in that not everyone will get along but at the very top level uts a problem and I doubt Ole and his backroom staff can turn this around, I doubt he will be in a job come December 1st.

UA, I'm not sure he has completely lost the dressing room. While some players are starting to question his methods, the general feel around the club is that the players on the whole are still behind him.

Spurs have had a poor start and don't know how to attack which means our weak defence isn't such an issue. Atalanta will go all out attack at home which will leave huge spaces in behind for us to counter in to. Which has always been our strength under Ole. City could go either way, I suspect a draw.

The players also have a certain amount of pride and will be hurting after the Liverpool humbling. If we don't see a reaction from them then we should be questioning their mentality as professional players.

You are right Shappy in that we need to question the players if they down tools. But nobody questioned them when they did it against Jose so its a precedent that we as a unit have set.

On the dressing room i have heard that there was a bust up between the players on who takes it easy and who is not good enough or why Ole made Maguire captain and then the entire dressing room turned on Ole. Not sure what to make of it but i do think that Ole's days are numbered. Whether we get a proper manager in next or turn to Gary Neville is anybodys guess.

One thing is for sure. i am not looking forward to Saturday.
