It was nou, I felt Amad was terrible tonight. I was disappointed with his whole demeanor. Ugarte has started the season like he has never played in the team before and Onana is like Onana. I hope Aomorim can turn it around but he has not got this team going at all.

I think he'll struggle to come back from this. I like him but can't really defend what we saw tonight.
He can't change his system now, so we're stuck with a system that clearly doesn't work for us. We are in trouble.

The whole team were awful tonight, they didn't look up to it and there was a distinct lack of leadership on the pitch.

Amad proved that he does currently suit playing wingback over the No.10 position. Which backs up the fact that his best performances last season came from RWB and not in the No.10.

Ugarte highlighted why we are so desperate for a new defensive midfielder.

Mainoo wasn't any better than Bruno in the No.8 position. This was his chance to put down a marker and make a claim to play more, he didn't seize the chance.

Sesko showed why Amorim has been easing him into the first team and not just throwing him in.

Maguire didn't do the best of jobs guiding the young CB's either side of him through the game. He was probably the best leader we had on the pitch, and he showed that he just isn't a top level leader. He needs to focus on his own game far too much to play well to be able to help lead and guide other players.

Manchester United really should not need a new formation to beat Grimsby. There was a lack of heart and ability from about 70% of the squad. We have nowhere near got rid of all the rot yet. Most said it would be two to three windows and it is. I still think we will have a better season than last but expectation needs to be tempered we only avoided relegation last season due to the teams coming up being record cr@p.
Bruno is looking a bigger issue every game. The task at hand is huge but lack of effort is unforgivable.
