Watkins would be my first choice, and Jackson my second out of those options.

I wouldn't sign either of Vlahovic or Sesko as I think both would flop badly in the EPL.

Vlahovic has been on a steady decline since joining Juventus, plus he's said some controversial things in the press that suggest a potential attitude problem.

Sesko is one of those young players who when you watch you see all the skills to be a top player, yet you rarely see a top performance from him. He also doesn't seem to be the right profile of striker for us. He's more of a creative false 9 or 9 and 1/ 2, similar in style of play to Zirkzee. He wants to drop off, come deep to get on the ball and be the guy to make the telling pass rather than be the guy getting on the end of the telling pass. He doesn't spend enough time in the box and doesn't seem to have that killer instinct that top strikers need. I think he'd struggle to score more than 8 league goals in the EPL, and given the fee and the expectations that would be placed on him I see him being another expensive flop like Højlund.

We need to stop trying to sign the biggest name or the most promising young player and start signing players who suit the team and what we need. Even if that means signing "lesser quality" players.

I want square pegs for square holes and round pegs for round holes. As we've proven enough times over the past decade that square pegs for round holes just doesn't work.

Thanks 033
95% happy with cunha and mbeumo. That's high.
Striker as I suspected is a lot different where opinion is more divided. Let's hope we get someone in soon.

Utd need a finisher. A player who will make the right runs and is clinical in front of goal.

There's plenty of creativity in the team now to feed him.

It needs someone who will make use of the chances and actually score.

Too many centres forwards who do everything else apart from their main job of putting the ball in the net.

Sign Watkins who was benched by Rashford. Loan Rashford out for no fee. Make that make sense.

I would rather sign Toney than any of them mentioned, let Sesko develop and look again next year at what's around. Maybe even a couple of years and sort out other areas first.

Tumble, it’s high on Cunha and Mbuemo probably because we been starved of decent players of late, they are both good players, not great players and will suit where we are at, at this time, then there is the red tints syndrome too, some just think they scored 20 each last season, that will transfer to the same this season for United, but as you should know football don’t work like that, plus our back to front football is all terribly slow, pedestrian like, we have GK who slows play to a standstill, a CB who is slow as a carthorse, no pace in midfield and no striker currently, so those 2 might find goals hard to come by, which is a huge concern.
