Really I find it so hard not to get caught up in all of these transfer rumours.
Yes I'd like the likes of Vidal and Di Maria to come along and be our saviours, yes I'd like us to win the first 6 games and be top of the league.
But, at the same time I'm trying to remember that I'm a united supporter and support the team through thick and thin. We're rebuilding and that does get resolved with one or two key signings
I for one will happily put my faith in the club and the new boss and let it ride.
Let's spend on who we need to spend on. Let's get a grip and get behind the club and trust.

I agree and I will always support the club as many will testify, what worries me is that lvg is now saying we need signings, if we don't get them then something has gone seriously wrong.

I am pretty sure we will have 2 or 3 new faces by September 1st but like I said the other day, let's hope we aren't 0 from 9 by then!

Lads,
Think its time we all faced reality with these rumoured transfer targets. Couple of points I’d like to make:

• Van Gaal has been brought in for a reason. To do the best with what we have and develop the youth.
• No ‘world class’ player is going to move to us without champion’s league football next season.
• Up and coming players or players with potential such as Depay are a possibility.
• Shaw will be about as world class as we get (still don’t think it will happen though).
• Think we’ll see the likes of Wilson, Lingard and Petrucci all get their fare chance.

Honestly believe the ‘world class’ signings will happen next year providing we obtain a top four position.

Hope I’m wrong with some of this, but that just how I see it.

1.) LvG was brought in because he was the best possible option available. MU wanted Ancelotti originally and no doubt others before LvG.

2.) Agree with most of this. I think we will end up signing Shaw, Indi, Clasie, and Carvalho.

3.) Lets wait an see, then we can all carry out an autopsy. Be hyper critical of the facts if that's what you want.
A lot of what's being said is utter crap and we know it, relax its Manchester United for gods sake. I believe and read for that matter about 10% of what I see, try being more selective on what you consume.

Just reading what Cabaye said about joining PSG. He used the word 'project' when talking about how happy he was to be joining.
I for one am so glad that when we have players joining they use words like 'history' and 'privilege'.
Dont get me wrong i'm not bitter, good look to him.
Am I the only one who thinks its a sad state the way big money like PSG and rubbishy are trying inadvertently to distroy the great game and itsttraditional values?

Have to say, I really think Hernandez has let himself and the club down. He's had a great opportunity over the last month or so and he hasn't taken it.

You'd have to wonder what's going on in these players heads off the pitch as well as well.

Just don't think he's a united standard player.

1.) In my opinion Hernandez has shown passion, work rate, ability and loyalty throughout his United career and he should be loved and respected for that. He has been lackluster this year but it can't be easy to pump yourself up as is his style when the whole team is flat. Saying that I didn't get to watch the match tonight, however he performed he doesn't deserve heavy handedness.

2.) Had a chance over the past few weeks you say? How? Welbeck has started every game, chicha scored in both his games he has been involved in (for more than 5 mins) How is that letting himself down? Infact its the midfields service, bar januzaj, who has let him down, moyes for not starting him, who has let him down.

3.) I appreciate that he was probably tired but I was disappointed that he didn't take a penalty.

4.) Hernandez is a quality box predator, if there's no service coming into the box he can't produce what he's good at

Herrera: Is it all just a little desperate last minute, or is this guy actually that good? Seems to me if we'd really been hard after him we would have heard about this rumour before a couple of days ago.
36 million. That's roughly were others seemed to value WR at, so are we saying he's that good ( although a different type of player)

Honestly I think the only players we are in for are the two from Everton. Think the rest is just to keep us happy.

Honestly can understand why people are so concerned about player wages and how much we spend on buying them. We're supporters not financial staff at the club.
Give him 300 a week if he'll stay.

Well said unitedlover.
It is going to take time. We need to accept this year for what it is (a feet finding, regeneration year) and support the manager.

Ha!
Do you actually think that if we were in negotiations with anyone, that we (the supporters) would be informed?
If something was to happen you'll hear about it on the stock exchange first.
By not commenting, the club will try to keep some face by saying nothing and denying everything.

You're Moyes, you've £30m to spend, and assuming anyone you approached would say yes.
Who do you sign?
