I guess the next signing may well be a keeper. But who?

Despite being injured I did read a while ago that we had interest in Victor Valdes as competition for De Gea, following Valdes injury lay off but not heard much in a while. Not sure whether Valdes has found a club as yet. I also read that De Gea's girlfriend was encouraging him to move back to Spain and whilst there has been no suggestion he would, a good number 2 could be important

TQred - there are suggestions that Anders Lindegaard will be released. Valdes would be a good shout if his wage demands aren't too extravagant. Dave the save could use the competition - although I wouldn't want it to push him out of the door.

I'd stick with the reserve keepers, we have other areas rather than a keeper to strengthen, De Gea isn't injury prone and we have no Europe. Valdes is a waste of wages to be sitting on the bench all season.
