Has it become embarrassing or laughable at this point? We are horrific, hope the lot of them get sold, absolute sh1t! Keep De Gea, Sancho and Varane, let the pretenders p1ss off.

Nevermind a lack of quality, these players look like they'd rather be elsewhere every single game. I just don't understand where the arrogance has come from, a lot of them are pure crap and haven't won anything in their career, relegation fodder like our 'captain'.

Not a single department is good enough, defence and midfield is shocking and the attach, just average. Two retirees, Rashford (time's up) and Sancho.

Forget genuine quality, some of them can't even pass or control a bloody ball. like fishes on bikes. The lack of effort is what really irks me. City players, much better than ours, run their socks off every game, epitomised by Bernardo Silva, we haven't got a single player anywhere near as good him, nor do they put that amount of effort in. They throw their hands in the air when they lose the ball, or don't get a decision, biggest bunch of moaners i've ever seen.

Can't see this ending unfortunately, run by absolute amateurs. Just can't see them letting RR do his job without interference. I mean what the **** are the likes of Fletcher and Phelan doing at the club? Even RR and players don't know, bemusing, shocking sh1tshow!

Lack of effort p*ssed me off the most about yesterday's 'performance'. We looked shambolic second half. Lingard and Rashford need to take a serious look at themselves after coming on when we were losing in a derby game and showing such little effort and running. I appreciate Ralf could be criticised for those subs, as any manager could be for substitutions that ultimately didn't work. But in fairness to him he must have thought we are losing in a derby so surely these academy lads will go on and give it their all. Seriously I'd start docking wages by like 80% if players are that crap. Problem is we pay so far over the odds it wouldn't make a difference to them anyway.

It isn't the loss, or lack of quality. The effort is unforgivable. Rashford and lingard's effort when they came on was shocking. I would not be playing them for a couple of games to get the message across. Give hannibal a shot ahead of those 2, he might just take his chance like elanga has.

A few have slated McGuire, but I'm not sure he was lacking in effort. Problem is he is not showing leadership and bellowing at these statues in our team.

The first goal lindelof was dragged wide, mcguire was marking at front post, telles spotted the danger, but was worried about his man at the back post. Where was the midfield? Just standing watching. City are clever at overloading the left flank and getting people free into the box, but surely we had a plan to deal with that?

We are currently looking like odds on for 6th or 7th place.

dodgy a proper captain stops that first goal he notices the danger before its happened and he uses something called a voice

either mark him yourself or drag telles in and then tell the winger to mark the player telles was marking, its not hard.

we don't organize, there is a reason we don't keep clean sheets the defense is woeful, this is the worst defense I have seen from a united side.

they lack any brains, players constantly unmarked its pathetic.

the first 3 goals were all avoidable. if who ever tried the chip pass just hoofs it clear it stops the shambolic marking for the first goal.

if the 80 million disaster doesn't dummy the ball off the post and just hits it out for a corner that stops the 2nd goal.

and if we organized and man for man marked and someone used there brain to mark mahrez from the corner the 3rd goal doesn't happen.

city were not great they didn't need to be, because we lack any communication or organization with that back 5 we will always concede.

the only cbs that should still be here next season is varane and as bad as he is linder he is just the best of a bad bunch, wan bissaka and shaw should be sold, i would prefer williams to wan bissaka and purchase a left back to play with telles.

neves and rice or Philips for midfield and there is a young winger from PSV that I've seen that has been good this season called Cody Gakpo who I like the look of.

The club has spend close a Billion in the last ten years. Certainly its not the money.

The trouble is we are going to bring all these 'lesser' hungrier players, and even if the application improves, are people still going to be expecting a title challenge or will they be more realistic with their expectations? If the side is exciting, hardworking and competitive, but ultimately falls short, that's still an improvement.
Liverpool and City are on an unprecedented level, it's unrealistic to expect us to challenge. Chelsea are doing a good job of keeping up with them. Spurs and Arsenal are probably on a par next in line, and both have enormous potential to push on depending on what they do in summer. I put us alongside that pair next season.

Agree with all of that bolger except that for the first goal Telles should be the one shouting. He saw the problem. Pointed a few times, but didn't get across to the middle to cover, or get anyone's attention to mark at the back. He was the one not loud enough/ decisive enough.

Totally agree with the shambolic defending for second. DDG must have nightmares.

@Spenno
Along the lines of Wolves and Westham after spending a billion. Do you think the big boys would be happy to fight the hammers or Aston Villa for the Europa league spot mate?

Ron, I do expect Utd to 'challenge' for Top Four at least next season (as well as this season), but they won't be challenging for the title any time soon. They need half a dozen world class starters to come in, and we don't even know who our main centre-forward is going to be in half a year.

If you go in against city with those stupid tactics, your going to get smacked, the players told RR that on Friday, but RR thinks he so far above everyone he knows best and he got his aRse smacked, lucky it was not more, pep gave him a lesson, but worst then that all players warned him…. RR thinks he is a master…yeah right.

Tel/ tasher first half the tactics worked very well, second half we jacked it in when the third goal went in. Defending let us down first half from individual errors from the usual suspects.
