This is great news, McTominay is one of my favourite players in our current squad, he isn't the most talented, but he works hard and is dedicated to becoming the best player he can be, and seems like a great lad. Also he is becoming a leader in among this group.

Blackpool, I think McTominay is the kind of unsung hero every team needs to make it successful. He is young and developing, but he has the hunger the drive to keep improving. Whether he ultimately ends up a great squad player or a valuable first teamer remains to be seen.

Nobody really rated fletcher when he was at the club and I remember many of my mates wondering why fergie kept picking him for big games. Mctominay is similar as I think we will appreciate his attributes more as time goes by.
