The independent are reporting that United and Dortmund have an agreement in principle for Sancho. Initial fee of around 60m with add-ons going up to over 100m.

Would be good if true.

They’ve been shot down by a number of sources in Germany saying that no way are Dortmund taking as small an initial fee. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️.

Depends on the add ins I suppose. If it’s no. of starts then Dortmund may take it, Balon d or, maybe not. In reality it lo be a mix of those. But that figure makes sense for everyone and allows us to spread our outlay.

I think now is the time to bring him in CSF.

The C.V. puts us in a very strong situation financially as we are one of few clubs with cash to spend this summer.

We might end up spending a lot, but waiting until next year would likely mean other big clubs like Real and Barcelona are in a position to rival us for his signature and in that instance, I see him moving elsewhere (even if the fee is lower) .
