Love Amorim. Love how he speaks. Get the rest if the old brigade out and new signings in and I'm sure the squad will be running through walls for him.

Plain to see that we lack two proper midfielders who have energy, can carry the ball and pass through the lines (not hollywood passes) .

Plain to see we need a keeper that doesn't wilt when the ball is put j to the 6 yard box.

Plain to see we need a special-ist rwb.

When 40m sale value is your 4th or 5th record sale as a club, I think we all know where the problem lies. Chronic mismanagement of the club, players, players contracts etc. This is going to take some time to fix and swapping managers only sets us back.

Very good post imo DB.
Im a big fan of amorim and I like the way he operates.
However his naivety with his comments needs to be fixed quickly.
He is saying some things that should not be said.
Hopefully he will rein that in and get better advice and media coaching. Although at times his jack Nicholson approach amuses me. " you want the truth? You can't handle the truth^ ??
Angel is right he has to win games.
He has had a full pre season but our new front 3 have not started a game together and i'm sure they will improve. I've seen good spells in games but the midfield w and keeper options are rank.
Our keepers are just rubbish.
Our midfield lacks pace power strength and composure.
Imo bruno needs a baleba / wharton type player to play alongside him if he is to play there. Mainoo does not suit that nor does he want to play that role. Personally i'd like to see a midfield of mainoo and baleba/ wharton.
So until these positions are sorted we have no chance of being consistent.
Its like trying to save water in a leaky bucket. Our attacking options now look decent. But thre is no foundation behind them to give them a platform.
That's before you need to address rwb and cb.
Keeper looks like a calculated gamble he us young and unless he is taibi like then he can't do ant worse and he might just fulfill his high potential.
Midfield we won't get my wish of either baleba or wharton but i'd take another calculated gamble as he can't do much worse than cas (class but past it) and ugarte.

Just too many holes to fill Ken, even with a good window.

It is confusing why they bought a new front three, and it could pay off with more goals once they gel together.

If we'd got a top CM we'd all be moaning about bruno, the RWB and the keeper. Lol, our squad finished in the right league position last year.

Baleba and Mainoo would probably be class in this midfield pivot. Selling bruno in june to fund that might have us further down the road. But it is also undeniable that we are woeful when bruno is not in the team.

Ugarte has been the big failure for me. Should have been class for us, but he’s turning into a useless acquisition, very limited in his movement and passing. Totally immobile and adds little to the team. Like when Liverpool bought Acquilani a few years back.

Ra sold him before to pag. He couldn't get a game there and we signed him before ra came in. No way ra would have chosen ugarte he knows his weaknesses.

Ugarte was a strange signing given his limitations. He might work well as squad player alongside better options at CM but he certainly isn't a starter. I understand Kobbies frustrations completely.

It is not harsh Ed, it is a relentless barrage of the same old rhetoric. It ruins the club, the fanbase, this site and life in general to be surrounded by such miserable individuals.
Angel is not alone, maybe you can start a spin off site for people to just bitch and whine at knee another.
