Not a team that looks like being able to beat a good palace team. But looking at the bench there wasn’t many other options.

Feels much better after the win. Second half was much better but the issues with CM and the left side remain. Licha back could be huge and Mazraoui probably starts now before Yoro. A left side with Licha, Shaw and Cunha has enough quality I think. Others here I know don't believe Shaw can handle LWB but 60 minutes from him with Dorgu/ Dalot playing the remainder would be a significant improvement.


We're not particularly fluid but mostly the upward trend from last year is clear. Today was another game we'd have lost last year.

We need to grind out results. This match last year, would have resulted in a loss for Utd.

I do believe that when Licha is fully fit and capable of playing 90 mins, that Shaw should play LWB. Dorgu and Dalot haven't impressed. I thought that Malacia might even be given a chance. It appears he is just making up the numbers.

The work rate in the aecond half was excellent. We outfought Palace and that was tremendous to see.

Outfought a team that played less than 72 hours earlier and your bragging about that, I know we have to be grateful for small mercies but that’s pushing it… we won let’s just take that not start saying we were excellent.

Difficult one Ken. Whilst in principal I agree, I was a season ticket holder for 30 years. For 12 years of that I was in the armed forces. Whilst based in UK I was there every week. But for 5 years I was based overseas. Some of that was in Europe so made efforts to get back every now and then. However some of it was in I was unable to travel so “sold” my tickets out of the folder at the Trafford Arms.

That gave me some return on my season ticket and meant that I could retain it throughout that period. I gave it up in 2005 after living in Oz as it was clear I would not be returning permanently. I am now happy that some do sell their tickets and know I can go to the Trafford Arms and get a ticket if required.
