If reports this morning are to be believed, Sesko has chosen Newcastle.

Not sure the source is reliable. But being repeated by lots of "news" outlets.

It all seems to track back to a Slovenian newspaper. No idea how reputable they are, but also can’t see what reason they’d have to lie. Will wait for Ornstein or some other reputable journo to confirm, but seems like we’ve missed out on another top striker.

Newcastle have made formal bid for Sesko. If Sesko wants them so be it. If he wants United we can’t dither, it’s cough up or wave another CF off. Newcastle have put their money on the table, up to Sesko. Usually you would think Newcastle would have had the nod from Sesko before putting a bid in, yet reports say he is interested in both.

We can’t hold out like we did with MBueno, it’s cough up now at the price or be frankly embarrassed.

Let’s be honest if Leipzig sell to Newcastle we aren’t likely to sell Hojland to them.

Can’t see us beating Newcastle unless Sesko really doesn’t want to go there. We’re managing funds and Newcastle have had a shocker and could lose Isak. I recon they will go all in.

Looking like no Sesko. Watkins isn’t for sale apparently.

Maybe no new striker this summer. Never mind.

Maybe Mbeuno can play up top with Cunha and Bruno in the 10’s. And then get a good midfielder instead.

There will be lots of back and forth with this deal. The media are having a field day, it's a big fancy name player, who'll go for a large fee, is linked to United, and could be a pawn in the big Isak transfer news.

We will get so many angles on this over the next week or so that it'll have our heads spinning. Yesterday United were the favourites, today it's Newcastle, don't be surprised if it's United again tomorrow.

Best to just ignore everything until the clubs announce something.
