Great start to the season, Bailey has continued his good form from pre season n looks to be an absolute beast in the making, Felani had a good game, Valencia hitting form n providing assists, Luke Shaw looks like he is picking up from where he left off n Zlatan just being Zlatan! - all very positive n entertaining to watch
Can't wait to take my seat at Old Trafford on Friday.

Agree about Bailly I think he has caught everyones eye, a bit rash sometimes and will pick up a few cards but the kid is learning, and playing in a new league so its to be expected.
What I do like about him the most so far -and there is a lot to like- is he is very good in the air and seems to be able to get a clean head on most balls in - I don't know if its instinct Bailly has, but at 6ft 5 it is something Smalling isn't great at, Smalling seems to climb over people so his height which should be an advantage earns the opposition a few free kicks - also, Smalling as big as he is doesn't seem to have great upper body strength, whereas Bailly does - then again one can compliment the other so it could be a very good partnership if that's how Jose decides to go - Smalling and Bailly.

Another thing I like about Bailly is that although he can be a beast in the challenge (something we have missed) he has also shown a deft touch here and there, a little spin or a nice pass out from the back. Still early days but lots of positives to his game so far.

I agree TOT66, if it wasn't "nailed on" I think Jose would have moved for a back up by now. It is going to be a world record transfer and I appreciate a transfer of this magnitude can take longer than normal to complete. The tabloids run with it as Pogba sells papers.

Apparently the deal is done and will be announced in the coming days - iv had enough with the whole PP saga, just wish they would make the announcement (which ever way it goes) so we can start planning for the coming season.

Where do you get your information sweet? Yesterday we were in "advanced talks" with Fabinho and today you break the news that the Pogba deal has been completed. Wishful thinking? Paper talk? Or actual information?

If that's the case I'm sure Jose would already be aware and be working on a back up, do any ed's know who realistically this back up would be? Jose seems pretty sure he's going to land a world class midfielder from what iv read, would Verratti be a complete no go after signing a new contract? (Not that I think we stood much chance before he signed lol)

I agree there is video footage I watched it this morning Pogba says "yes yes" when asked if staying at Juve (don't even think he heard the question) I just missed the extended version "I am staying at Juventus, this is my message to all the Juventus fans"
