Blind and youngs contracts extended? What do you all think? Young yes didn't see blind. Maybe we'll get a better price for him.

Mrgibbs

1.) 28 Feb 2018 22:32:53
Foolish decision for me.

Who is Blind?

Young is just a hole filler, who is going to hold up game time for prospects or allow for Shaw to be ridiculously benched!

He puts in a decent cross now and again, but is on mega money and frankly offers very little. He has gone backwards over recent months for me, yes he is a utility player - but we have a large squad and lots of talented youngsters who aren't getting a kick.

2.) 28 Feb 2018 23:32:08
How about it Gives the option to sell them now instead of walking away for free.

3.) 28 Feb 2018 23:39:40
Two versatile players, very good squad players. If the manager wants them, whatโ€™s the issue?

4.) 01 Mar 2018 08:52:28
Neither player would be anywhere near any other top 6 team.

5.) 01 Mar 2018 08:55:39
The club is just protecting itself. Now they can't leave for free in the summer, so if they do leave the club makes some money back. Also if the club can't get their targets they aren't backed into a corner and still have options.

6.) 01 Mar 2018 09:10:32
Did young not only sign a new contract last season .
Clearly in the managers plan.

7.) 01 Mar 2018 09:45:57
I think the club have taken an option of further year.

Blind and Darmian will be gone in the summer, their are at age where need to play regular and that won't happen at Utd.

For Ashley it looks like Mou likes him.

8.) 01 Mar 2018 10:22:13
Darmian and blind could of all ready left .
Maybe blind has can't remember the last time I saw him.

9.) 01 Mar 2018 10:52:03
Exactly, they will be mad to spend another season at Utd.

10.) 01 Mar 2018 12:10:16
Good move to not allow them to walk away for free.
Young has shown he can play in a variety of positions and can be a useful squad member. Has done well this season. Blind darmian fellaini ibra carrick and 1 or possibly 2 of mata herrera rojo jones smalling shaw will leave in the summer imo. I hope that tuanzebe mctominay tfm and maybe Perriera will replace some of them with 3 or 4 new signings completing the squad for next year.

11.) 01 Mar 2018 16:26:56
Blind ibra Carrick can't really make the squad would make no difference if they stayed or left .
Might bring a couple of the kids back for the odd game but they are probably better off where they are actually getting a game .

The squad will never be completed United will buy every summer.

12.) 01 Mar 2018 17:35:00
knowing Young he will injure himself and make a dramatic recovery when the transfer window shuts.

13.) 02 Mar 2018 01:37:39
I feel for Blind. Not good enough for us but could do a job in Italy. Extending his contract is going to put off teams going in for him and at his age you want to play regular football. Young is good cover for left back and right back and of course could play further forward. Young is one of the only out and out wingers we have we have in the squad.

14.) 02 Mar 2018 01:39:52
Ken. I think Tuanzabe is more ready than Fosu-Mensah even with him getting game time at Palace. He's a good prospect but something about him makes me think he will be never quite make it to the level required.

15.) 04 Mar 2018 04:34:49
@manctom watch TFM against Man City and tell me he'll never quite make it.

16.) 04 Mar 2018 15:26:52
Killerscones.

One good game doesn't make a player. He is inconsistent and makes rash decisions.

17.) 04 Mar 2018 18:13:21
Tom,

Like every young player mate, Ronaldo was the same, never made it.

18.) 05 Mar 2018 13:55:22
TFM been pretty consistent so far manctom. I work with a palace fan and he reckons that he's been their best and most consistent player.

19.) 05 Mar 2018 18:44:26
So was bebe never made it.
Tfm is not a right back.

20.) 05 Mar 2018 18:49:03
Angel he has only started 16 games was in and out of the team. Now kelly is back from inujry he will lose his rb spot and hopfully move into cb or dcm. Has done well but he is not the answer to our rb problems. i'd love to see him as matic understudy.

Are the Fred rumours real or just garbage. Don't know much about him, although it is an area we need to strengthen.

As much as I get pleasure from reading the ramblings of other man utd fans. Ed002 is the reason I read this site religiously every day. Unfortunately there has been talk of toxic fans. I just like to let Ed002 how much I appreciated his posts and sharkopods. Hopefully I speak for the vast majority on this site.

Mrgibbs

{Ed002's Note - Thanks anyway.}

1.) 15 May 2018 11:57:23
I think we will sign some football players in this summer window, don't worry dude.

2.) 15 May 2018 11:32:39
I'm sure you do mate.

3.) 15 May 2018 12:23:45
I guess we will have to just sign players without Ed002 telling us who they are then!

The main issue with no help from Ed002 on who the real targets are is the 300 different players we are going to see posted on here over summer who have been named in the Metro or Daily Star etc, think I might just come back in August to be honest.

4.) 15 May 2018 12:27:33
Awful lot of work in those Sharkopods, always a highlight of this site. Even though I wasnt a fan of the music . If Tony Blackburn didn't play it (ask your dad/ grandad) then I wouldn't know it- info was great though.

5.) 15 May 2018 13:21:27
GDS is Ronnie. Ever seen them in the same place, at the same time?

6.) 15 May 2018 14:32:22
Gds, wait until next may no point watching anything next season a few of our experts have told us that city will win and we will struggle for top 4. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

18 Apr 2018 00:31:56
I don't know about anyone else but I hope pogba and martial outlast mourinho at our club. I think we have a great nucleus all we need is the right man in charge. Give mourinho one more season but don't let him sell anyone under 26. The last thing we need is a delightful bruyne or Salah type player slipping through our fingers.

Mrgibbs

1.) 18 Apr 2018 11:19:55
But the manager can't be blamed for under performing.

There comes a point where the player has to step up.

A player should be able to play in any position and perform to a standard.

2.) 18 Apr 2018 12:50:00
As has been previously explained Salah an de Bruyne were not down to Jose.

06 Dec 2017 10:27:12
Hi long time reader first time poster, how do people feel about bringing Depay back?

Mrgibbs

1.) 06 Dec 2017 11:40:13
Willl be good to have him back . i'd choose him over Bale.

2.) 06 Dec 2017 11:45:39
Singh. you are joking ain't You?

3.) 06 Dec 2017 13:01:54
Neh i am being serious he'd be cheaper then Bale and Bale is very injury prone.

My ideal player for the left side would be ivan perisic or Asensio if we can get him.

Dint want bale for the price quoted.

4.) 06 Dec 2017 14:21:57
Bale might play less games Singh but he would play twice as many good ones as depay .
Personally i'd steer clear of both. I always wanted bale at united but the cost would be high and the risk higher due to his injury issues.

5.) 06 Dec 2017 14:33:50
Left wing names that come to mind:
Jonathan Viera
Julian Brandt
Julian Draxler

One season solution:
Zlatko Junuzovic.

6.) 06 Dec 2017 14:59:24
Agree with ken always wanted bale at united and felt it was a perfect match. But the injuries have taken its toll and we all know muscular injuries are the worst to recover from. On his day he is devastating and up there with the very best. I would prefer we spent big on griezmann, Dybala or Draxler as mbd has mentioned.

7.) 06 Dec 2017 15:30:41
I would rather try and recover from a pulled hamstring apposed to a broken leg . That's just me tho.

8.) 06 Dec 2017 21:18:37
Walrus that always depends on the severity.
100 professional footballers would take a straight broken leg over a ruptured hamstring.

04 Dec 2017 19:23:02
How do people feel about bringing back Depay.

Mrgibbs

1.) 04 Dec 2017 19:33:29
Nope. Not for me.

2.) 04 Dec 2017 22:31:57
no thanks. the only ex player out there that i would consider would be Rafael.

3.) 04 Dec 2017 20:39:22
His issue wasn't talent, it was attitude. If you told me he has really got his head down and his attitude has changed, I would take him back because he has all the talent.

Maybe one of the eds has some insight into whether or not he has been able to develop on that side of the game.

4.) 04 Dec 2017 22:37:36
Lots of talent doing well at Lyon he may well go on to get 1 more big move but it won't be back to united. I reckon he will have played for 6 or 7 clubs by the time he is 30.

5.) 04 Dec 2017 23:00:03
Spurs.

6.) 05 Dec 2017 00:15:42
If he spoke to Jose and Jose was convinced that his mentality had changed then Def yes. The lad hs fantastic talent he came to us too early it was too big a jump from the Dutch league (quite a few pundits warned it might be) . I would hate to watch him in a year or so like Chelsea have to watch De Bruyne.

7.) 05 Dec 2017 15:52:03
Ken totally agree - another Ben Arfa.

So casual racism is OK, lukaku is 100% within his rights to stand up for himself. Racism is wrong no matter where and when it takes place.
