Hey lads,
Have to ask this again. Is MUTV free or is it like just on a trial basis? It's been viewable since a couple of days after it was moved from ch406 to ch418 on sky. pretty sweet if it's gone free! I know I haven't ordered it!
1.) Its a trial thing mate
2.) Hadn't noticed it because I have MUTV but I'm still paying as far as I know, so it's got to be a trial.
Can't remember how much my flat pay, fiver or something I know it's less than £10 a month but we think it's worth it if you're thinking about getting it permanently.

3.) MUTV is great but if you are interested in watching reserve and youth team matches then it would be better to stream it from thefirstrow. That way you don't have to listen to Lou MCcari who is probably the biggest person on the planet, even when he is not commentating.

Was that really as bad a window as most makes out? We have bought a young RB (Personally have never seen him play) who could potentially get Valencia out of the team (hoping) this season and a midfielder that, if played with Magic, would allow Pogba to do what he did at the World Cup. Freeing up Pogba from protecting the back 4 should have been and was the priority this window.
Obviously we would all like a new CB, LB and RW, but how much can we change a team every season? for me he just needs to pair Bailly and Lindelof more. A fit Shaw should start LB every week. Then the only issue area is RW. Why Sanchez isn't played there all the time is beyond me. Martial was going well LW up to January, why not leave him there and play Sanchez where he had at Barcelona.
Best bit of news was Courtois to Real.

I think the main concern is that we were hoping for signings that would change our style of play and allow our so called star players to have an actual influence on games rather than them pass them by. Unfortunately we still have no width our wing backs offer little defensively and nothing going forward and we will be stuck playing that turgid 4-3-3 formation which we are lucky to get a shot on goal per game.

Ings is at an age that he isn't a long term barrier to Greenwood. Why not just play Greenwood up front from next season? why would they bother with Ings - never rated him beyond one good season. Greenwood is clearly good enough if not a little underwhelming vs last year
If Cavani doesn't stay, why not take a (probably relatively cheap) punt on someone like Odsonne Edouard from Celtic? - not a terrible finisher, contract runs out in 2022 relatively young at 23.

yeah, it's unfortunate that he never continued playing well after 2018 WC - it's always more satisfying when an academy graduate makes it. Maybe the loan and getting out of Manchester will be good for him.

I just don't understand how they can do nothing all summer, basically since March, and sign four players on deadline day. Do they believe it's like prime day or black Friday? Players go cheaper. (Ignoring that we potentially upgraded LB, RW and have cover at CF) The club is a sh! t show.

Have to agree with the above - this site is great and really appreciate the effort you guys (ed's and all contributors) put into it.
I rarely read "news" (sport and general) any more - mainly because I really just want to know what happened and without having to read someones opinion, opinions taint the reality. The internet has allowed everyone to voice an opinion, whether people should hear it or not.
I think the major downfall of most current journalism is their writing skill level is that of a secondary/ high school student and more fitting to a blog post than a degree qualified journalist at a major (or any) publication.

I think the concern is if we don't buy a RB we're left with Dalot and Young fighting for game time. I would prefer Young out of the game time equation.
